Has anyone ever cut their hair with pinking shears?

I’m thinking of cutting my bangs with pinking shears to see what the effect is. If you don’t know what pinking shears are…they are the scissors used in sewing that have a zig-zag blade. Does anyone have any experience doing this?

If you try this you need someone to do it for you as they would have to keep the ‘bangs’, or fringe as we’d call it in England, dead flat. Also you need to be sure they are very sharp, not often the case with pinking shears. The depth of cut varies so choose a deep pair or it’ll just look badly cut!
