How can I add volume to my hair?

Every time I use a spray, gel, or mousse intended to creative volume, all it does is make my hair poofy.

put the product in your hair, then blowdry it while you brush or comb it.. itll make it look like you have more hair. then finish it off with gel or spray once you’ve styled it to hold it in place
