No… our children acquire life experience and knowledge of their own… our understanding of everything we learn… will not be the same as how another person translates it… not even our children… they’re not clones of us… they are new people in their own right… with our ancestral genes… with new ones of their own… they are far from clean tapes waiting to be printed on by us… they will print their own markers and knowledge within their own psyche and brain… in their own time and way.

It is insolent and conceited to want them to be carbon copies of us and how we view life and experience and knowledge we have gained.

Do you really want them to also have ‘pasted’ in their minds… all the fears and traumas of your life… since that’s the end result of what you’re asking… all the things that scare you… all the bad experiences you’ve known… all the hangups and the phobias… passed to your children… not mine thanks… my life has too many painful memories… not things I want my kids to live with… it’s bad enough living with them re-surfacing myself!
