How can I straighten out the outward ends of my newly cut shorter hair?

If anyone’s ever gotten their Hair Cut shorter, you’ll see that the ends usually curl outward (for straight hair). What’s the best why I can straighten them out?

maybe the hair was held out and cut, not cut next to the body. this could have caused it. try a larger round brush when drying it
