Red Brown
What colours best match a burgendy red brown colour???
I’m getting married and trying to pick out theme colours, the reception venue has this dark red – brown coloured carpet and i want something that will compliment the colour without matching it. My wedding is in summer so i prefer light breezy colours

Honestly the dark red and brown are more of fall colors, so if you have colors for the wedding that compliment the carpet really well, it will look like an autumn wedding.
If I were you, i wouldn’t worry about the carpet’s color. If you have tall centerpieces it will draw everyones’ eyes up and they probably won’t notice the carpet doesn’t match.
If you insist to match the carpet, I think that a yellow and blue match those colors pretty well.
