Hair Mask Recipes For Damaged Hair
Banana Hair Mask
You Will Need
- 1 ripe Banana
- 1 Egg
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Begin by slicing the banana and placing it in a mixer. Run the mixer and stop running it once you know for sure the banana has transformed into a smooth paste.
- In a separate bowl, break and beat the egg. Add the beaten egg to the mixer with the banana paste and run it until the egg is well incorporated into the banana paste.
- Now, add the olive oil, honey and milk to the mixer and blend until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Pour the mixture into a separate bowl and apply onto hair.
- Once you have applied the mixture onto your hair, allow it to stay on for around thirty minutes. Once the thirty minutes is done with, wash your hair with a gentle shampoo and follow the shampooing up with a conditioner.
Avocado Hair Mask
You Will Need
- The Yolk of an Egg
- ½ an Avocado
- 2 tbsp Coconut Milk
Instructions
- Break an egg, separate its white from its yolk and add the yolk to a separate bowl. With a tablespoon or a fork, lightly beat the yolk of the egg.
- Once done with beating the yolk, add the coconut milk to it and beat again until you have a smooth mixture.
- Cut the half of the avocado into small pieces and blend in a mixer until the avocado turns into a smooth paste. Add the avocado paste to the yolk and coconut milk mixture and mix well with a spoon.
- Apply the resultant mixture onto your hair and allow it to stay on for fifteen to twenty minutes. Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo and use a conditioner too. This mask is a great remedy for damaged hair follicles. The only disadvantage with this mask is that it may smell unpleasant.
Honey And Olive Oil Hair Mask
You Will Need
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Honey
Instructions
- It doesn’t get simple than this olive oil and honey mask. You can begin by putting it together by heating the olive oil over a low flame. The purpose of heating the olive oil is to get it to a warmer temperature.
- Once the olive oil is warm enough, take it off the heat, wait for a minute or so and then add the honey. With a spoon mix the olive oil and honey.
- Apply the resultant mixture onto your scalp and let it be for around half an hour or so.
- Go in for a shower once the thirty minutes have passed. When washing your hair make it a point to use a gentle shampoo and conditioner.
